The Korea University Football Federation will hold a preliminary match for the U-22 standing army. The second round of warm-up matches for the U-19 and U-20 standing army will also be held.

The Korea Federation of University Football Associations will hold a warm-up match at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Cheonan Stadium of Dankook University. It is part of a standing military system by age. It will focus on the skills of prospective college players in various stages of growth.

Players under the age of 22 who have been active in each university stage for a long time and have improved their skills will participate in the U-22 selection match. Players in the U-19 and U-20 age groups will be made up of outstanding players selected from among those on the standing list through the first round of selection matches. The second round of assessment will be conducted as an interim check to ensure continuity and in-depth operation of standing groups by age. The team will conduct a more precise diagnosis of development trends and tactical performance.

In order to enhance the professionalism and fairness of the evaluation, the Korea Federation of University Football Associations collects players' movement data through "Soccerbee," a GPS-based activity analysis system. It has a medical trainer at its medical partner Neulchan Hospital on site to assist in conditioning and emergency response. It enables rapid response through detailed analysis of performance based on data and constant deployment of medical staff at the site. It is further enhancing the professionalism and efficiency of operation of the standing army.

According to the University Football Federation, a high-ranking official from Thailand's Thai League 1 visited the site to observe the recent U-21 preliminary standing army selection match. Through meetings with the board of directors of the University Football Federation, they also had time to explore the possibility of future cooperation as well as interest in the Korean university football system.

After the exhibition match, the team will carry out intensive regional and overall group training for the starting players. The team will carry out the training based on three principles of field-oriented, technology-based and continuous management.
